BIOGRAPHY
Lighnin' Moe from Århus has slowly established themselves as one of the most exiting and energetic blues bands in the country.
They primarily play their own compositions, inspired by Chicaogo and Texas blues, of the most rocking, rolling and unpolished kind. With a charismatic Morten 'Lightnin' Moe' Steenbæk in front, vocal and harp, the guitar-slinger Kasper 'Lefty' Vegebjerg, the ground solid Peter 'The Planet' Dunvad on bass and finally Tim 'JUmpfoot' Petersen on drums, they create their own version of the 'old school' authentic sound of the 50'es.
Since 1995, the band has released four great albums, which have paved the way for a lot of jobs all over Northern Europe, and the new release, 'Rock'N'Roll Baby' will show if there is anything to the many great reviews the band has received by a unanimous Danish and international music press. Put your dancing shoes on, baby! We're going to Long John's.
