BIOGRAPHY
The Zeeland blues rockers and winners of the 2012 and 2016 Dutch Blues
Foundation Award for Best Dutch Blues Band have already set the
international stages ablaze for 37 years and this anniversary year will be
listened to with a new live CD/DVD !
In 2017, the album Crossroads un&plugged, recorded live for the
eponymous program of BRTO Radio in Bergen op Zoom with the Australian
guitarist Lloyd Spiegel as special guest, was released live.
The 2015 CD Heart on Fire, (follow-up to the Going to Chicago CD recorded
in Chicago with Ronnie Baker Brooks, Ana Popovic and Eddy The Chief
Clearwater) was voted Best European Bluesrock CD by the American Blues
Underground Network!
The Juke Joints have been at festivals and club venues in Ireland,
England, France, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, Switzerland, Norway, Poland,
Curacao, Austria, Romania, USA.
Of course at a very large number of festivals in the Netherlands and
Belgium, including North Sea Jazz, Moulin Blues Ospel, Blues Night
Oosterpoort Groningen, Ribs & Blues Raalte, BRBF Peer Belgium,
Bluesrock Tegelen, Trandal Blues Festival Norway, Bospop Weert, Hell
Blues Festival Norway.
They shared the poster with Kim Wilson, Buddy Guy, Alvin Lee, Van Morrisson, The Paladins, Roomful of Blues, Walter Trout, BB King, Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers, The Nighthawks, George Thorogood, Bernard Allisson, Ten Years After, Jan Akkerman, Eddy Clearwater, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa....
